Right of withdrawal

Cancellation policy for consumers

If you are an entrepreneur within the meaning of § 14 BGB, you do not have a right of withdrawal. As a consumer within the meaning of § 13 BGB, i.e. as a natural person who concludes a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither commercial nor self-employed, you have the statutory right of withdrawal in accordance with the following provisions:

Right of withdrawal

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason. The withdrawal period is 14 days from the day on which you or a third party named by you, who is not the carrier, have taken possession of the last goods.

In order to exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us of your decision by means of a clear statement (for example, a letter sent by post or an e-mail).

You can use our sample withdrawal form for this purpose, which is not mandatory, however. To comply with the withdrawal period, it is sufficient to send the notification before the end of the period.

Consequences of withdrawal

If you withdraw from this contract, we will refund all payments we have received from you, including shipping costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than our standard delivery). The refund will be made immediately, but no later than within fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal. For the refund, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless we have expressly agreed otherwise. You will not be charged any fees for this refund.

We may refuse to refund until we have received the returned goods or you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier. The goods must be returned or handed over to us immediately and in any case no later than within fourteen days of your withdrawal. The deadline is deemed to have been met if you send the goods before the end of the 14-day period. You bear the direct costs of returning the goods.

You are only liable for any loss in value of the goods if this is due to handling that is not necessary for testing the nature, properties and functionality of the goods.

Exclusion and premature expiry of the right of withdrawal

The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the delivery of goods that are not prefabricated and for the manufacture of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to personal needs.

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely for contracts for the delivery of sealed goods that are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if the seal has been removed after delivery.

It also expires prematurely for contracts for the delivery of audio or video recordings or computer software in sealed packaging if the seal has been removed after delivery.

General information on returns

1. Please ensure that the goods are returned undamaged and clean. Ideally, use the original packaging with all accessories. If this is no longer available, please ensure that you use secure alternative packaging to avoid transport damage.
2. Please do not return the goods to us freight collect.
3. Compliance with points 1 and 2 above is not a prerequisite for the effective exercise of your right of withdrawal.
